What Hourmint stores

The app stores the information you create in your browser or desktop app: activity names and colors, work/break classification, timer sessions, settings, and activity logs.

In the web app, this data is stored locally in browser storage. Hourmint does not require an account and does not send your time records to an Hourmint server.

Exports, imports, and deletion

When you export a backup, your browser creates a JSON file that you control. Files you import are processed on your device. Protect exported files according to their contents.

You can delete Hourmint data with the reset action in Settings, by clearing this site’s browser storage, or by uninstalling the desktop app and removing its local data.

Website hosting

The landing page and web app are delivered through Cloudflare. When you access the site, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and browser information to deliver and secure the service.

Hourmint does not include advertising trackers or product analytics at launch. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ privacy notices.

Your choices and rights

You can access, edit, export, and delete the app data stored on your device. For questions about website processing or your data-protection rights, contact hello@javan.de.

You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority, such as the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
